The Miracle of Daily Juice (Day 2 of 4)

JUICE GURU JUICESWhen we left off last, I told you that I had discovered the magic of juice fasting when black tar came out of the tips of my fingers…

And that, ever since that day, I regularly juice fast to slim down and clean out…

But after years of doing this, I found I still had a problem…or I developed a new one, anyway…

No matter how many hours I spent in the gym…No matter how many salads I ate…No matter how many juice fasts I did…

As I got older…and busier…I just couldn’t lose the weight once and for all…

Especially…I noticed…I couldn’t lose my gut…

That did it…The wheels in my head started turning…

I was now over 40…and I thought, as most people do, “Well, I guess this is just what happens as you get older…”

But, even still, that was particularly hard for me to swallow…

I had spent most of my adult life as a health expert…How could I not have the answers??

And then it hit me…The secret to why most people yo-yo in their weight all their lives…

Diets don’t work.

You may be wondering right now…well, o.k., but what diet was HE on?

The truth is, I DON’T diet…at least not in the traditional sense…

I’ve never needed to try any “fad” diet out there…As a long-time radio show host, bestselling author and magazine publisher in health, I know the right foods to eat (and drink)…

But…I was thinking to myself at the time…I do juice fast…on and off…several times a year…

Aha…it finally hit me…THERE lies the problem…

Don’t get me wrong – regular juice fasting is one of the most important things you can do to slim down in the healthiest way possible…

It’s the ONLY way to rid yourself of the pounds of toxic junk that have built up in your body for years…slowing you down and keeping you from losing your food addictions and excess weight…

No…the juice fasts themselves weren’t the problem…

It was what I wasn’t doing in between my “diet-like” fasts that was the problem…

The one thing my routine of regular exercise, regular juice cleanses, and a healthy diet was missing…

The one thing every other juicing “guru” out there today seems to leave out…

Daily Juice.Juice Enlightenment

To be clear, I’m not referring to bottled juice you might find in the supermarket or health foods store…Those juices are heavily processed and have been cooked at high temperatures, killing off the good stuff…

And I’m not talking about a blended smoothie (or “magic bullet”)…Our bodies are able to assimilate the nutrients much more rapidly with a raw juice…

More than anything else I have tried in my 20 years as a health expert, having one well-chosen fresh juice every morning on an empty stomach keeps you slim…

like nothing else…


 

That was a few years ago. A lot of people look at health experts like me and all they see is how we look now – in a snapshot in time – at our best…

But I can tell you from experience that I know what it’s like to struggle with the lose-gain-lose cycle of yo-yo dieting.

Chances are, you have also felt the pain of working hard to lose weight…only to gain it back again…and then some…

Someone wise once said something like “Any fool can learn from his own mistakes. The wise person learns from the mistakes of others”…

It took me almost 20 years – and my own struggle – to crack the code of getting slim for good. Hopefully I can help you get there much quicker…
